Why doesn't the player "From:" button list my data source?

You need to load the appropriate plugin.  Not all plugins are loaded by default.  For data sources, loading the corresponding plugin (e.g. xir3000arch) will add an entry to the player's From: menu for that source.
You can also have radR automatically load the plugin for your source every time it runs.
