Adjusting playback speedFrom $1Table of contentsNo headersWhen acquiring data from either live radar or an archive file, radR processes one sweep (aka "scan" in radR) at a time. For most radars, this consists of data from a 360° rotation of the antenna around its axis. Unlike some software, radR is unable to update the screen one pulse (or block of pulses) at a time; i.e. the entire plot window is updated simultaneously, each time a sweep has been processed. When in play mode, radR processes scans as quickly as it can acquire them. If you wish to simply view an archive of recorded data at a speed convenient to you, you can do this in preview mode using the controls in the player window.
